What is the Rural Community Immigration Pilot?

A federal immigration program connecting skilled workers with designated rural communities across Canada

The RCIP is a federal immigration program that connects skilled foreign workers with Canadian employers in designated rural communities. Its purpose is to address labour shortages, support economic growth, and encourage long-term settlement in smaller regions of Canada.

For applicants, it's a chance to secure permanent residency while becoming part of a supportive, close-knit community. As the successful RNIP evolves, the RCIP offers skilled workers and their families a new opportunity to gain permanent residence in welcoming Canadian communities.
