What is the Atlantic Immigration Program?
A federal immigration pathway designed for skilled workers and international graduates to settle in Canada's Atlantic region
The AIP is a federal immigration pathway designed to help skilled foreign workers and international graduates settle in one of Canada's four Atlantic provinces. It addresses labour shortages, supports economic growth, and offers a direct route to permanent residence without the competitive points system of Express Entry.
At Waymax Global, we specialize in navigating the AIP, connecting you with the right employers, and ensuring your application is positioned for success.

Your Step-by-Step AIP Journey
Complete 8-step process from initial assessment to post-landing settlement
Initial Assessment
Comprehensive review of your profile — work experience, education, and eligibility for AIP. We evaluate your background against AIP requirements and identify the best Atlantic province match.
ECA & Language Tests
If your education is from outside Canada, we assist you with obtaining an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA). We also advise on and help arrange approved language tests (IELTS, CELPIP, TEF), explain CLB requirements, and recommend next steps to meet scores.
Job Search & Employer Targeting
Resume optimization for Canadian employers, targeted outreach to designated Atlantic employers, and interview coaching to improve your chances of securing a valid job offer.
Secure Job Offer & Settlement Plan
Once you receive a job offer, we connect you with a designated settlement service provider and help prepare the mandatory settlement plan for you and your family.
Provincial Endorsement Preparation
We work with your employer to compile the endorsement package — including your ECA, language test results, settlement plan, and other supporting documents — and submit it to the province.
Work Permit Application (Optional)
If eligible, we assist with applying for a temporary work permit so you can begin employment in Canada while your PR application is being processed.
Permanent Residence Application
With the provincial endorsement, we prepare and submit your PR application to IRCC, ensuring ECA, language test results, proof of funds, and all documents are accurate and complete.
Post-Landing Support
After landing, we provide settlement assistance, help activate your settlement plan, and guide you through integration into your new community in Atlantic Canada.
